10.08.10 Gutshot have decided to call it a day, after two years and a large number of gigs in Lincoln and around the UK. As the members move on to University, they felt that the band had run its course.

08.08.10 The Treehouse play an outdoor, chilled out Alternative Folk & Americana night at The Royal Oak in Aubourn with Support from fresh new Lincoln talent Midnight High. There is also a Barbeque on the night which kicks of at 7.30. Further details at Facebook event

08.08.10 Aurora Promotions are now using two Lincoln venues. This coming weekend sees them hosting a gig at the Priory (bottom of the High Street), featuring The Fix, Headstrong, Recruit, The Resistance, and The Sunshine Poet. Friday night its back to the more familiar setting of the Duke and has the Nought Point Sevens headlining with support from Jasper Cain, That's Not Me, Eusa Show, The Johnny Guns and Pyschotic Panda. The gig at the Priory is 14+. Both gigs are £5.00 on the door.

28.07.10 Nightvision have had an exciting year to date with their first European festival at Wizzfest in Belgium and the band has already been invited back for a high profile slot at next years event. Watch out for details later in the year. The band played alongside American band Fozzy fronted by WWE wrestling star Chris Jericho in London in May and have recently played late slots to big crowds at festivals in Manchester and Barnsley.

Coming up in August are a series of headline shows around the UK followed by a five gig UK tour with Australian rock band Koritni ( myspace.com/koritni ). Koritni who have a big reputation both in Australia and in Europe and are currently touring in Europe kick off in the UK with a Lincoln show at an Aurora Promotion event at the Duke of Wellington on Tuesday 7th September where as well as Nightvision two other local bands, Full Tank and IVFT will also be playing. Tickets for this quality show at just £5 will be available soon from the bands, venue and at Aurora shows.

10.07.10 Following their support slot with Dodgy in March, Little Imp journey down to the big city again on 21st August to support The Vortex (Bonehead, ex-Oasis' new band). The gig is at the Dirty South which regularly presents some of the UK's top talent. Tash and the guys are organising a coach trip to the gig for the bargain price of £20 (which includes return bus fare and entrance to the gig). Little Imp will also be releasing a mini-EP in the near future so keep checking their myspace for details.

09.07.10 Classic rock outfit IzenGard, who \re all committed, seasoned musicians are seeking management and promotion. Between them they have been very fortunate to perform to audiences from small venues of 200 to 400 and larger venues of up to 44,000. Some of the players have done session work for artists such as Saxon, Peter Gabriel and composed music for Channel 4 and Torville & Dean.

12.06.10 As mentioned some time ago Big Dog are set to release their album "Fear Of A Safe Planet" this summer on the German electronica label KUGK Musique. The three piece also have a new mysoace site, which features tracks to listen to and buy. Visit myspace.com/bigdog4000000.
Drummer Mark can also be seen out and about this summer touring with The Hoax (myspace.com/thehoaxband). The band will be plying their blues at festivals and venues around the UK and Europe. And if you get a chance to catch them on tour, do so. They are well worth it.
