Lincoln's Bivouac (est. 2000) continues with it's well established policy of booking some of the most interesting up and coming bands around at the moment. Over the next three months, Steve Hawkins, proprietor of The Bivouac, has put together probably the best mini program to date. International, as well as National touring bands, have been booked to play at it's new home on the High Street, @ The Millers Arms. Stand out nights must include Sunday 21st June, with The Brett Domino Trio, as seen in April on ITV's 'Britain's Got Talent'. This comedy musical trio made quite a splash and managed to get through to the next round. Dead pan musical humour with their own akes on some classic tunes, as well as playing their own original material. Lucky to get them, we reckon.

Also coming back to The Bivouac, we welcome again Antifolk's LACH from New York City, USA (Sat 30th May); casual laidback indie KLAUS SAYS BUY THE RECORD (Friday 24th July) who were previously on Channel 4;
guitar driven rock's ALL IDOLS FALL (Friday 22nd May);
the excellent female fronted blues three piece LOS (Sat 18th July); and from Oxford University the haunting pop sensibilities of COLLISIONS AND CONSEQUENCES (Fri 3rd July). Making a welcome return to the Bivouac, it's been nearly a year since their last appearance, Sheffield and Sleaford's ROTARY TEN. Relaxed Indie guitar smiths who will be shimmering on stage at The Millers on Friday 19th June.

New to the Bivouac, we welcome the critically acclaimed Indie and Jazzy combo TUBELORD (Fri 30th May). Hotly tipped, this show has been much anticipated by Lincoln's gig going fraternity. Jangly guitar, future pop sensation HOLD FIRE play on Sunday 31st May. From Brighton and on their debut UK Tour, they later head off to Japan. Acoustic big hitters OXYGEN THIEF and BEN MARWOOD, from Bristol and Reading respectively, headline on Friday 10th July, and are joined by Lincoln's own acoustic punk rock star BRUCETALITY. Friday 12th June belongs to a fast and furious Punk Rock show from headliners HUDSON (from Stoke) and RADICUS (from Peterborough).

Since parting company with it's former home for 8 and a half years last January, The Bivouac has successfully hosted some 18 shows at it's new venue location on the High Street, at The Millers Arms over the last three months. These shows have included up and coming groups, as well as established signed bands, including Brighton's BRAKES and Epitaph's THIS CITY, BRONTIDE (featuring I WAS A CUB SCOUT'S Will Bowerman), the debut appearance of KLAUS SAYS BUY THE RECORD (as seen on Channel 4), Los Angeles based GRAN RONDE, Lincoln's THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS, and other UK touring bands including PHARAOHS, RANDOM HAND, THE NEAT, THE SHUFFLE, YOUVES, COLLISIONS AND CONSEQUENCES, and LOS.
