06.03.2010 - Its the second night of The Lounge Crusade's monthly slot at The Mezz bar. After a really successful launch, this month sees them take to the stage with special guests The Treehouse "who are local, and simply awesome".
There will also be an acoustic warm up on, so come along and grab a seat in a chilled out candle lit atmosphere, and enjoy some amazing live music for free right on your doorstep (Sunday 7th Mar)

06.02.2010 - The Naira Project have just released their live acoustic EP (recorded at St. Chad's Church in Welbourn, Lincolnshire). 06.03.2010 - Having had a hectic February which took them round the country and their first venture into Europe to play at Wizzfest in Belgium, Nightvision are thrilled to have been asked to support touring American heavy rock stars Fozzy (fronted by WWE wrestling superstar Chris Jericho) at the afternoon show at the Relentless Garage venue, London on Sat 15th May. (Check myspace.com/nightvision1000 for details) Hopefully plenty of Lincolnshire fans will make the trip to London and enjoy a fantastic show.
The band has some really good gigs confirmed and plenty still to be finalised and are looking to continue to gig at as many new venues as possible during 2010. Lincoln fans have the opportunity to rock with Nightvision at the Aurora Promotion at The Duke of Wellington on Sat 10th April when promotor Dawn Stephenson has put together an exciting line up. A full gig list can be found on the band's myspace

31.01.2010 - Eastroad who moved to London some three years back have been confirmed to play at Glastonbury for the third consecutive year. The guys are building up something of a following on the festival circuit, as they frequently play not only Glasto, but Guildfest and StrummerCamp to name a few. The band will be making a rare trip up to Lincoln in March, to play the Duke Of Wellington (12th March). Also on the bill are The Band From County Hell (playing an acoustic set) plus from the States, Rodney Brannigan. Brannigan is also playing Glastonbury and is something of a guitarist's guitarist, noted for playing two acoustics simultaneously. Definitely worth checking out. Tickets are £5.00 on the door.

25.01.2010 - A number of people have come together to put on a gig in support of Rock Against Racism. The event is to be held towards the end of March/early April. The organisers are looking for local bands who would like to donate their time and play for free at the event. The venue is still to be confirmed but last year's event at The Duke Of Wellington was successful. Any bands wanting to take part should contact Megan or go to the Facebook Group.
